WHO WE ARE
PT ESCO Teknologi Integrasi (“ESCO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website https://esco.co.id. We are an audio visual system integrator, distributor, and maintenance-service provider based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal data obtained through our website.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide, including:
• Your name;
• Your email address; and
• The contents of your message.
Our website, hosting provider, and security tools may also automatically receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, pages requested, referring address, and security or error events. This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA
We may process personal data to:
• Respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
• Assess requests for products, services, quotations, consultations, maintenance, or technical support;
• Take steps requested by you before entering into a business relationship;
• Deliver and monitor website-generated email notifications;
• Protect the website against spam, fraud, abuse, and security threats;
• Maintain business and technical records;
• Comply with applicable legal obligations; and
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
We do not sell personal data or use contact-form information for unrelated advertising. We will only send marketing communications where permitted by applicable law and will provide a way to opt out.
CONTACT FORMS AND EMAIL DELIVERY
Contact-form submissions may be stored within our WordPress website and sent by email to authorized ESCO personnel. The notification normally contains the name, email address, and message submitted by the visitor.
We use email-delivery software, including WP Mail SMTP, to transmit transactional website emails through a dedicated ESCO Gmail account. The purpose of this connection is to improve the reliability of website-generated messages.
GOOGLE API DATA
Our website email system uses the Gmail API solely to send transactional emails generated by the ESCO website. It does not request access to a visitor’s Google account.
During authorization, Google may display a permission allowing the application to read, compose, send, and delete email in the authorized Gmail account. This permission applies only to the dedicated Gmail account controlled by ESCO. ESCO configures and uses the connection solely to send website-generated email. We do not intentionally retrieve, analyze, sell, or delete unrelated messages in that mailbox.
OAuth credentials and authorization tokens may be stored in the website’s WordPress configuration so the website can continue sending messages. Access is limited to authorized administrators and the technical components necessary to operate the email connection. The authorization process may pass through the WP Mail SMTP connection service solely to complete the OAuth connection.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used for advertising, credit assessment, or sale to third parties.
The Gmail connection can be revoked through the dedicated Google Account’s security settings or removed from WP Mail SMTP. Revoking access will prevent the website from sending email through that connection.
COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for website operation, security, form functionality, user preferences, and WordPress administration. Security and anti-spam tools may process technical information to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or malicious activity.
External links or embedded services, such as WhatsApp or other third-party content, may be governed by the privacy practices of their respective providers. We encourage you to review their policies before providing information to them.
HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA
We may disclose personal data only where reasonably necessary to:
• Authorized ESCO employees and representatives who need it to respond to an enquiry or provide services;
• Website hosting, maintenance, security, anti-spam, form, and email-delivery providers acting on our behalf;
• Google, where necessary to operate Gmail and the Gmail API;
• WP Mail SMTP and its connection components, where necessary to complete and operate email authorization;
• Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or service providers subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations; and
• Government authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
We require service providers to process information only for legitimate service purposes and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Some technology providers may process or store information outside Indonesia. Where international processing occurs, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable law.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN PERSONAL DATA
Contact-form enquiries are ordinarily retained for up to three years after the last relevant communication. Information may be kept longer where it becomes part of a customer, supplier, project, contractual, accounting, legal, dispute, or compliance record.
Technical and security logs are retained only for a period reasonably necessary for website security, investigation, and troubleshooting. OAuth credentials and tokens are retained while the email connection remains active and are removed or invalidated when the connection is deleted or revoked.
We may delete or anonymize information earlier when it is no longer reasonably required.
YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about our processing of your personal data and ask us to:
• Provide access to personal data we hold about you;
• Correct or complete inaccurate information;
• Delete or destroy information that is no longer required;
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
• Object to or request restriction of certain processing; or
• Provide information in an accessible form where applicable.
Some requests may be limited where retention or processing is required for legal, contractual, security, or legitimate record-keeping purposes. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
SECURITY
We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. These measures include access controls, website security monitoring, restricted administrator access, and secured account authentication.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
This website is intended for businesses and professional users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the website. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
